Research: Eyeshadow Stickers Yay or Nay?!

According to online article " but many women sometimes are too busy to do the make-up especially in the morning before going to work." Oh god what is this world coming to? Eye shadow should be an expression of yourself and you're wardrobe. But apparently in today's society women do not have enough time or energy to put in the artist effort. I'm sorry guys although the pigmentation is very impressive I would rather put in the work then tattoo my face.

Smokey Eye Project 2

Before

This week I deiced to follow up on my goals from my first project. I wanted to work on the eye shadow color and blending techniques, and what better way to do that is to do a smokey eye.

For the Left I used the same techniques I would use from my Sephora Smokey Eyes kit. By applying the same techniques I would on my face I mimicked the same brushed and eye shadow pigmentation on the computer.

I worked with alot of round brushes to create textured highlights and the ink dropper tool to match the color. For the eye lashes I mimicked false lashes.
Overall I think its a good start of my idea. You still get the brush stroke techniques and art form on the computer as you would by looking into a mirror.

GOALS: Look at high trends in make up and attack it!

My first attempt (September 23)

Before
After

On Friday Sept. 23,2011 I did my first test run with creating a virtual make up. I used alot of round brushes  to cover the lid and played with the opacity to try a build a highlight. I choose purple because its opposite on the color wheel and would compliment green. Women with green eyes tend to stick with alot of plum shadings, if done correctly it will open up their eyes and make the pop!

For the eyelashes I was looking alot at the structure of them.  What I've noticed is that each individual hair is different. Then applying an overcoat with mascara properly should single out and have a "fanning effect".
I tried sketching out a few ideas and my goal is to upload the drawing on Adobe Illustrator and darken each hair with a certain brush.
GOALS: Focus on Blending eyeshadow colors (smokey) and designing more of a realistic eyelash for now.
